Curriculum Updates

29 July 2008

The two modules MA2222 and QF2101 are the same except for the code. MA2222 will be offered in AY2008/2009 and AY2009/2010. From AY2010/2011, MA2222 will be delisted and QF2101 will be offered instead. Students reading MA and AM majors are advised to take this into consideration when they plan for their studies.

The modules MA1311, MA1312 and MA2311, MA2312 are designed for students who read a minor in mathematics or for those who are keen to pick up some mathematical skills that might be useful in their own areas of studies. As such, all students reading a major in MA, AM, CF/QF or a second major in MA and FM (irrespective of the year of matriculation) are not allowed to use these modules to fulfill the respective major/second major requirements.
